About us
The owners are Carl and Angela Buergler. Both have strong ties to Indiana and played Division I sports at Purdue University. Carl was a Quarterback at Portage High School and a 4-year member of the Purdue Football team including the 2000 Rose Bowl season. Angela was a standout Shortstop for Penn High School, winning a State Championship and Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Indiana. She was a 3-year starter at Purdue. During her senior season she earned All-Big 10 honors and was named Purdue Softball’s MVP. In 2023 she was inducted into the Indiana Softball Hall of Fame. She now focuses her time investing in future generations of softball players as an Assistant Coach for the Indiana Gators 12U and Valparaiso HS Varsity softball teams.
